I've been using it for over 20 years and the only problem I have is I wish you could make the "add entry" box fonts bigger. I can do it with the main program body, but the box is tiny.

I've been using SL Checkbook since it was first released and still love it. It's simple to navigate and very stable. I have entries dating back to 2005 and have never experienced a crash or loss of data. Very much worth the reasonable cost.

Just checking back here, and it seems there is still no where to download SL Checkbook 5.0

Hopefully Nickel Alloy will release the program as freeware soon, since it appears they have been out of business for some time. The program is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, and great for a small business. Nothing beats SL Checkbook 5.0!
